Business Leader
Steve graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University in 1988 and embarked on a highly successful sales career in the telecom industry, which found him transplanted across the country to Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa, and back to Southern Ontario. He has supported clients in Canada, the United States, Europe, Scandinavia, and Australia. By 1993, Steve was promoted to his first management role and over the next twelve years held progressively more senior roles with both start-up organizations (TMI and Maxlink) and large corporations (Ericsson and TELUS). Areas of responsibility in management included sales, product marketing, marketing communications, distribution, customer service and service delivery in support of the following verticals:

  • three levels of government
  • finance and banking
  • retail
  • transportation (air, rail, courier and trucking)
  • information technology
  • quick serve food (QSR) in both large national/global and SME markets

One of the many lessons passed down by his grandfather was  “when you give to the community, give of yourself”.

Steve is:

  • Chairman of the Board for the Canadian Football Hall of Fame,
  • a past member of the Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Halton Board of Directors
  • a board member for the Oakville Chamber of Commerce, Advica Health, and Globility Communications
