The "Associate" arm of Millington provides expertise across a plethora of areas including HR, Finance, Marketing Research, and Project Management. The associates include former CEOs and business area experts as well as leading industry and academic Professors. A few selected Associates are found below:

Steve Gesner, MBA

Steve graduated from the Schulich School of Business in 1979 with an MBA in Finance and Management Science and began his career at Ford of Canada. Over the next 9 years, he held roles in Finance, Treasury, Marketing, Production Planning, Industrial Relations, and IT. He spent the next 14 years with TD Bank Financial Group where he led TDBFG into the online world, launching its entry into EDI, Online Banking, and the Internet, ultimately becoming the firm.s Chief Technology Officer. Since TDBFG, Steve has worked with start-ups (PharmaTrust), small and medium sized firms (Meridian Credit Union, Resolve), and multinational firms (TELUS, CapGemini) in the banking, healthcare, technology, business process outsourcing, telecom, and consulting sectors. His areas of focus include Business/Technology Strategic Alignment, IT Governance, Program/Project Investment Management, Consolidation and Restructuring, Strategic Sourcing, and IT Operational Execution.

During his 30 year career, Steve has served on the Boards/Advisory Boards of Public, Private, and Government organizations including Phantom Fiber, PCAS, Hitachi Data Services, the Canadian Payments Association, Smart Systems for Health, Univeris, and JLAbright Ventures. He is an active supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and serves as a Coach to new Canadian IT professionals as part of the Information and Communications Technology Council.s Coaching to Careers program. Steve is also involved in minor hockey as a Certified Trainer for his son.s hockey team.

Steve is married to Debbie Cameron. They live in Oakville with their daughter Cameron age 13 and son Konrad age 10. The family enjoys skiing in the winter and relaxing at the cottage in the summer.

 

Tom Faguy, Head Coach - TowPath Coaching Services

After 27 years of service as a coach, mentor and counselor, Tom has established TowPath Coaching, working privately as a performance coach for business professionals, music artists, athletes and students.

He has extensive experience assisting service providers and clients in finding solutions and has had a successful career in helping people learn how to communicate in order to get the things they want. Tom is a certified facilitator in the True Colors assessment tool and brings his energy and insight to team building sessions, performance coaching and talent development for your organization.

Tom is also a speaker, coach and trainer for Millington & Associates, the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board and local youth groups.

Tom has been nominated for a Canadian Dream Maker Award and is a recipient of Ontario.s Volunteer Service Award (5 years).

Tom is a graduate of the Child &Youth Studies Program at Centennial College and the Solution Focused and Brief Therapy Program at Ryerson University.
